The resulting paint film exhibits excellent water resistance and superior overall performance, meeting diverse application requirements under standard conditions. For general colored coatings, the resin is directly ground into a slurry, preferably with the addition of a waterborne dispersant. The resin demonstrates good stability under alkaline conditions, enabling formulat- ion of various types and colors of paints. With high solubility in alcohol- ether solvents and low viscosity, it can be blended into waterborne acrylic topcoats.
